Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Matt Chapman went 2-for-4 with three RBI in Sunday’s win over the Red Sox. One of the hits was Chapman’s 35th double of the season and his RBI total now sits at 49. After a torrid start to the season, Chapman has been below average offensively. Since May 1st he’s hitting .213/.312/.3.38 with 10 home runs and 25 RBI in 85 games. Chapman did go 5-for-14 in the Red Sox series with four RBI, so Toronto would love it if he could get his bat going again
Cleveland Guardians DFS SPIN
According to Tom Withers of the Associated Press, José Ramírez and Tim Anderson are facing multi-game suspensions following Saturday’s fist fight in Cleveland. Ramírez and Anderson wound up trading punches in a benches-clearing brawl during Saturday’s showdown in Cleveland that resulted in both players being ejected from the contest. Withers adds that the league is expected to hand down the suspensions at some point on Monday and both players are expected to be sidelined for an extended period. Stay tuned.

Blue Jays vs. Guardians MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Ryu will be making his second start of the season after he missed most of the season recovering from Tommy John surgery from June of 2022. In his first start of the season, he surrendered four runs and nine hits in five-plus innings of a 13-3 loss to the Orioles last Tuesday. He struck out three and walked one on 80 pitches, so he’s looking for a bounce back performance tonight. On the other side, Williams is 1-3 with a 3.38 ERA and has pitched well in his past four outings, posting a 2.50 ERA. That said, he’s 0-2 over that span so despite pitching well, he’s not getting much run support. With that said, I’m going to take the under and bank on Ryu pitching better than he did in his first start.
MLB BETTING PREDICTION: BLUE JAYS/GUARDIANS UNDER 8.5
