Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Brandon Belt delivered his 12th and 13th homers as the Blue Jays topped the Reds 10-3 on Sunday. Belt’s second homer left his bat at 87.6 mph, which is an incredibly low figure to produce a homer. It traveled 344 feet and was a homer in only five out of 30 parks, according to Statcast. The first homer was hit much harder, though it was still a homer in just one-third of the ballparks. Needless to say, Belt was happy to be in Cincinnati today. He’s batting .327 with five homers in 15 games this month.
Baltimore Orioles DFS SPIN
Gunnar Henderson went 4-for-5 with two doubles, a triple and a home run as the Orioles demolished the Athletics 12-1 on Sunday afternoon. The 22-year-old doubled in the third inning and scored on a two-run single by Austin Hays. He then smacked a two-out triple in the fourth inning and was stranded there. Henderson also crushed a 392-foot solo homer in the seventh inning the extended the Orioles’ lead to 8-0. Needing just a single for the cycle in the eighth inning, Henderson lined a double down the right field line, giving zero hesitation when rounding first base. With his four-hit attack, Henderson is now slashing .249/.331/.484 with 21 homers and 69 RBI.
