Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer on Thursday, propelling the Blue Jays to a 9-3 blowout victory over the Twins. Guerrero Jr. effectively blew the back-and-forth contest wide open in the eighth inning by scalding a 115.4-mph three-run shot to left field off Twins righty Tyler Duffey. It was his 22nd round-tripper of the season and first time he’s gone deep since July 26. The 23-year-old fantasy superstar is hitting a robust .286/.359/.508 with 61 runs scored, 22 homers, 66 RBI and a career-high four steals in 448 plate appearances. That’ll do.
Minnesota Twins DFS SPIN
Jose Miranda went 0-for-2 with a pair of RBI on Thursday in the Twins’ lopsided defeat at the hands of the Blue Jays. Miranda picked up an RBI when he was drilled on the left hand by an Alek Manoah offering in the fourth inning and also added an RBI ground out in the sixth inning. He was lifted from the contest in the ninth inning with the Twins trailing by a touchdown and an extra point at the time. The 24-year-old rookie infielder struggled out of the gate when he reached the majors, but has done nothing but hit over the last few months. He should be rostered in all fantasy formats.
