Toronto Blue Jays DFS Notes
Bo Bichette went 4-for-4 with an RBI on Sunday in the Blue Jays’ lopsided victory over the Athletics. Bichette tallied a pair of hits off lefty Cole Irvin before golfing an RBI double to left field against righty reliever Deolis Guerra in the fourth inning to give the Blue Jays a decisive eight-run advantage. He capped off the four-hit effort with a single in the bottom of the sixth inning. The dynamic 23-year-old shortstop has been an elite five-category fantasy contributor, slashing .293/.344/.462 with 103 runs scored, 21 home runs, 82 RBI and 21 stolen bases across 576 plate appearances this season.
New York Yankees DFS Notes
Gary Sánchez clobbered a pair of homers on Sunday in the Yankees’ loss to the Orioles. Sánchez put the Yankees ahead in the early stages of the contest with a towering grand slam to left field against southpaw Keegan Akin in the second inning. He also slugged a two-run shot to left field off righty Marcos Diplán in the sixth inning as well. It was first multi-homer effort of the 2021 campaign. The 28-year-old backstop has provided his usual blend of consistent over-the-fence pop, reaching the 20-homer plateau, while also displaying subterranean plate skills.
