Bet Tonight’s Red Sox vs. Rays Game
BOSTON: Buchholz will draw another start for the injured Steven Wright but is slated to return to the bullpen once Wright returns over the weekend. In his last outing on Thursday, Buchholz pitched six innings of one-run ball in a no-decision against the Tigers. If he pitches well again tonight, he could be ticketed back to the starting rotation at some point before the season is over.
TAMPA BAY: Archer was excellent in his last outing, surrendering just four hits (all singles) and striking out nine batters over 7 1/3 scoreless innings. It was an excellent rebound start for Archer, who had allowed five runs over six innings to the Yankees in his previous outing.
