Dansby Swanson went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer against the Padres on Sunday. Swanson reached base on a groundout in the second inning and scored with some heads-up base running after Adam Duvall hit a single that Wil Myers and Robinson Cano had trouble handling. With a runner on in the fourth, Swanson added to the Braves total with a two-run homer off of Joe Musgrove.
Milwaukee Brewers DFS Spin
X-rays on the injured ankle of Brewers shortstop Willy Adames came back negative on Sunday. Brewers manager Craig Counsell said after Sunday’s game that Adames was diagnosed with a left ankle sprain. It’s very encouraging that there’s no structural damage and that he looks to have avoided any serious injury. He should be expected to return to the Brewers lineup in a day or two.
