Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN
Austin Riley went 2-for-4 with an RBI on Sunday in the Braves’ loss to the Brewers. Riley was responsible for the Braves’ lone run of the low-scoring affair at Truist Park, slapping an RBI single up the middle off righty reliever John Curtiss in the sixth inning.
St. Louis Cardinals DFS Spin
Dylan Carlson went 3-for-5 with two doubles, one run scored, one RBI, and a stolen base in a 7-3 win against the Twins on Sunday. Carlson got on base immediately in the first inning with a base hit off of Michael Pineda. He then stole second for his first steal of the season. Carlson was expected to be more of a contributor on the base paths after stealing 20 bases in 2019 in the minor leagues, so it’s a bit of a surprise that this was only his second career steal. The 22-year-old outfielder added two doubles on the day, driving in a run in the third inning. He’s hitting .255/.337/.417 with 11 homers and 44 RBI over 439 plate appearances.
Braves vs. Cardinals Betting Prediction
The Braves are 7-2 in their last nine meetings with the Cardinals in St. Louis. They’re also 4-0 in their last four games as a road favorite, are 4-1 in their last five games versus a left-handed starter and are 35-16 in their last 51 games after scoring two runs or less in their previous game. On the other side, the Cardinals are 5-12 in their last 17 games after scoring five runs or more in their previous game and are 1-5 in their last six games versus a left-handed starter.
