Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN
Ozzie Albies homered on Monday in a loss to the Dodgers. It was the only hit of the game for Albies, but a solo shot off Clayton Kershaw makes going 1-for-5 look a lot better. It’s the fifth time the second baseman has gone deep already, and it ties him for the MLB lead. Albies is hitting just .212 in the first dozen games, but the hits should start falling soon.
Los Angeles Dodgers DFS Spin
Cody Bellinger went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI Monday in a win over the Braves. He’s heating up. Bellinger golfed a homer off Jackson Stephens out to center field to give the former MVP his second homer of the season. He also doubled, and knocked in a run earlier in the game on a fielder’s choice. There’s a lot of baseball left, but consider how bad Bellinger looked in 2021 with a Cactus League showing that didn’t inspire confidence, either. This is most welcome, indeed.
