Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN
Austin Riley struck out all four times up against the Marlins in Monday’s loss. It wasn’t the case tonight, but he Braves have been getting it done offensively in spite of Riley struggling some of late; he’s at .198 with three homers and five RBI in his last 26 games. He’s struck out four times on four occasions this year, including twice in his last eight games.
Miami Marlins DFS SPIN
Bryan De La Cruz went 3-for-4 with a homer, a double and three RBI against the Braves on Monday. De La Cruz has arguably been the NL’s best player since being recalled on Sept. 7; he’s hitting .390/.417/.740 with six homers, nine doubles and 22 RBI in 23 games. It’ll be interesting to see how this surge affects the Marlins’ offseason plans. They’re already paying Avisaíl García and Jorge Soler big bucks and now De La Cruz deserves to start somewhere, but they probably can’t go without addressing that group somehow.
