Game Snapshot

Atlanta Braves DFS Notes
Drew Smyly (knee) is expected to make his next scheduled start Thursday versus the Mets. Smyly made an early exit from his last turn in the Braves’ rotation Saturday against the Phillies becasue of left knee pain, but he has felt fine in some subsequent side workouts. The 32-year-old southpaw holds a disappointing 4.30 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and 77/33 K/BB ratio in 88 innings (17 starts) this season.
New York Mets DFS Notes
Taijuan Walker was touched up for six runs over four innings on Saturday and took the loss as the Mets fell to the Blue Jays 10-3. Walker felt a pinch in his left non-pitching shoulder during the contest but downplayed the injury after the game. The 28-year-old has had a consistent downslide over the past few weeks, seeing his ERA climb to 3.43 after allowing 12 runs over 4 1/3 innings since the all-star break with just one strikeout. Walker is scheduled to take on the Braves next week at CitiField, but may not be the safest option in fantasy right now.
