Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN
Braves manager Brian Snitker told reporters on Sunday that Max Fried’s start will be pushed back from Tuesday to Friday. The club simply wants to get the left-hander a couple of extra days of rest in between starts — while also lining him up to take on the division-rival Mets. The Braves have yet to announce a replacement for Tuesday’s start, though it’s possible that they may end up going with a bullpen game.
Washington Nationals DFS SPIN
Joey Meneses went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer on Sunday, leading the Nationals to a 6-1 victory over the Marlins. All he does is hit. Meneses has shown zero signs of slowing down as the regular season winds down and he’s up to 12 home runs in just 46 games this season in the majors. The 30-year-old journeyman kicked off the scoring with a two-run blast to center field against Marlins starter Edward Cabrera and also singled to notch another multi-hit performance. He’s hitting a stratospheric .326/.360/.583 with 29 runs scored, 12 homers, 29 RBI and one steal in 200 plate appearances. Meneses has proven that he deserves a legitimate opportunity to secure an everyday role for the Nationals next spring.
