Milwaukee Brewers DFS Notes
Manny Piña slugged two homers on Thursday, powering the Brewers to a 12-0 blowout victory over the Pirates. Pina doubled the Brewers’ early lead when he connected on a hanging curveball from righty reliever Chris Stratton in the sixth inning. He also tattooed a two-run dinger to center field off lefty reliever Austin Davis in the eighth inning to record his second career multi-homer game. It was certainly a memorable evening for the 34-year-old backstop, who had gone deep only one other time over a 28-game stretch dating back to May 24.
Atlanta Braves DFS Notes
Austin Riley had a two-run homer and an RBI single Thursday as the Braves defeated the Mets 6-3. Riley has six homers and 13 RBI in his last seven games. He’s up to 60 RBI for the season, even though he went his first 14 games in April without driving in a single run.
Padres vs. Nationals MLB Betting Prediction
The Brewers are just 10-21 in their last 31 games versus the Braves in Atlanta, while the Braves are 4-1 in their last five games as a home underdog. Atlanta has also won five of its last six games when its opponent scored five runs or more in its previous game and the Braves have taken the first game of a series in four of their last five opportunities.
