Milwaukee Brewers DFS Notes
Avisail Garcia went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run in Friday’s win over the Braves. Garcia connected for a three-run home run off Touki Toussaint in the third inning. The Brewers entered the frame down 4-0 on the scoreboard. They would exit it tied thanks to Garcia’s home run (and an Omar Navarez sacrifice fly). Just one inning later, the Brewers would score another four runs to push out ahead. This season, Garcia is slashing .263/.320/.465 with 18 home runs and 63 RBI in 92 games.
Atlanta Braves DFS Notes
Austin Riley went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Friday’s loss to the Brewers. Riley’s two-run home run was the highlight of a four-run first inning for the Braves, but that would be wiped away and then some by a torrent of Brew Crew runs over the proceeding eight frames. For the 2021 campaign, the 24-year-old third baseman is slashing .289/.371/.526 with 23 home runs and 62 RBI across 104 games as August nears. The numbers are scintillating, especially given Riley’s youth.
Brewers vs. Braves MLB Betting Prediction
The Brewers are still just 10-21 in their last 31 meetings with the Braves in Atlanta despite winning last night’s game. The Braves are also 14-3 in their last 17 games coming off a loss, are 4-1 in their last five games when listed as a home underdog and have won five of their last seven games when their opponent scored five runs or more in its previous contest.
