Milwaukee Brewers DFS SPIN
Brice Turang hit a three-run homer Sunday to help the Brewers top the Royals 9-6. The homer was Turang’s third and first since Apr. 17. His prolonged slump had led to some speculation about a demotion to Triple-A, but the Brewers would much rather have him bounce back and keep his job as the second baseman against righties. He’s at .243/.296/.355 through 115 plate appearances.
St. Louis Cardinals DFS SPIN
Nolan Arenado filled up the box score in Sunday night’s 9-1 victory over the Red Sox — going 2-for-5 with a homer, four RBI and a stolen base. Arenado reached on a fielder’s choice in the third inning and swiped second base, but was ultimately stranded at third. He delivered a two-out, two-run single off of Ryan Brasier in the sixth inning that extended the Cardinals’ lead to 6-1. Arenado then tagged Brasier for a 396-foot (102.6 mph EV) two-run shot in the eighth that made it a 9-1 ballgame. The 32-year-old slugger is now slashing .256/.302/.406 with six homers, 26 RBI and a pair of stolen bases on the season.
