Milwaukee Brewers DFS SPIN
Corbin Burnes was terrific in Saturday’s Cactus League start against the Mariners, piling up six strikeouts over six innings of one-run baseball. The reigning National League Cy Young award winner allowed just two hits on the night and didn’t walk a batter. The only blemish on his day was a solo blast off the bat of Tom Murphy in the third inning. Aside from that, he was outstanding. Burnes now holds a 4.50 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and 19/3 K/BB ratio over 14 innings on the spring.
Chicago Cubs DFS Spin
Cubs manager David Ross said Saturday that Kyle Hendricks will be the team’s Opening Day starter. Hendricks gets the Opening Day nod for the third consecutive season. The 32-year-old righty will take the ball for the Cubs on Thursday afternoon at Wrigley Field against the Brewers in their season opener. He compiled a pedestrian 4.77 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 131/44 K/BB ratio across 181 innings (32 starts) last year.
