Milwaukee Brewers DFS SPIN
Andrew McCutchen went 2-for-5 with a double Thursday against the Cubs. McCutchen’s two hardest-hit balls of the day actually went for outs. The double, which was the first hit of the 2022 season, was a fly down the right-field line that the wind blew back into play. He then singled his next time up. The Brewers are going with McCutchen as their cleanup man for now. That’s not really where he belongs against right-handers these days, but as long as he hits there, he should be a solid choice in mixed leagues.
Chicago Cubs DFS Spin
Ian Happ went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI as the Cubs edged the Brewers 5-4 on Thursday. The first double was cheap, dropping down the left-field line after Christian Yelich got off to a late break. The second double, on the other hand, could have been a homer, with Statcast placing it at 412 feet out to right-center. Regardless, it’s a great start for someone who had a very difficult one last year. He already has more extra-base hits than he did in his first 25 games last season.
Braves vs. Astros MLB BETTING PREDICTION
The Brewers are now just 1-10 in their last 11 road games dating back to last season, are winless in their last four games overall and are 1-8 in their last nine games against the rest of the NL Central. They have also dropped four of their last five games versus a right-handed starter, are 2-12 in their last 14 games when facing an opponent with a winning record and are 1-7 in their last eight games when facing a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15.
