Will the Los Angeles Dodgers complete a road sweep of the Cleveland Indians when the two meet up today at 12:10PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Dodgers are favored on the road today, as they are getting odds of -135 to win, while the Indians are listed with a money line of +115 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 9.5 runs.

The pitching matchup today has Rich Hill (3-2, 3.77 ERA) on the mound for Los Angeles to face Josh Tomlin (3-8, 5.73) of the Indians. Tomlin is coming off a short 2.2-inning outing, allowing four runs on nine hits. He has given up 42 earned runs in 66 innings. He has 44 strikeouts with four walks and a WHIP of 1.35. Hill had a brief 5-inning outing in his last start. He has yet to pitch more than 5 innings in any of his seven starts this year. He has 31 innings pitched, allowing 13 earned runs with 31 strikeouts and 21 walks. His WHIP this season is 1.45.
The Dodgers have won the first two games of this series, picking up a 7-5 win on Tuesday and following that up with a 6-4 win on Wednesday night. The Dodgers are now 41-25 overall and 16-15 on the road. Cleveland is 31-31 overall and 14-17 at home.
Los Angeles rallied for four runs in the eighth inning of Wednesday’s game to come away with a win. Chris Taylor had a two-run single to ultimately give Los Angeles the winning runs. The four-run rally was allowed by Andrew Miller, whose ERA jumped to just 1.60 in the poor showing. It ruined a great start from Corey Kluber, who went 7 innings and had 10 strikeouts with two runs allowed. Brandon McCarthy lasted 5.1 innings, allowing just one run on three hits and two walks. Michael Brantley led Cleveland at the plate with two hits and two RBI.
The Dodgers have had a good start to this series and now have a favorable pitching matchup. Hill hasn’t been going deep into games, but he has managed to keep the runs from scoring. The Dodgers have had to tap into their bullpen a bit already in this series, which concerns me about today, but Tomlin is likely to struggle with these L.A. hitters.
