Blue Jays vs. Orioles Pick
Can the Baltimore Orioles keep up their stellar record at home when they host the Toronto Blue Jays at 7:05PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Orioles are the favorite at home, as they are getting odds of -125 to win. The Blue Jays are listed with a money line of +105 to prevail, while the over/under total has been set at 9 runs. Baltimore has won five of six meetings with the Jays this season.

The Blue Jays have Aaron Sanchez (0-1, 2.95 ERA) on the mound to face Chris Tillman (1-0, 2.89) of the Orioles. Tillman has just two starts this year, allowing three earned runs, 11 hits and five walks in 9.1 innings of work. He also had eight strikeouts. Sanchez has had four starts, but one lasted just an inning due to an injury. He has allowed six earned runs, 16 hits and seven walks over 18.1 innings of work.
Baltimore comes in struggling somewhat. They ended a seven-game road trip on Thursday with a loss to the Tigers, putting them at just 1-6 in the road trip. Baltimore is 23-16 overall and 13-3 at home. The Orioles are averaging 4.71 runs per game while allowing 4.42. Adam Jones has six home runs and 17 RBI to lead the Orioles while Chris Davis has nine home runs and 17 RBI. Manny Machado has a team-high 23 RBI, but he is questionable to play today because of an injured finger.
Toronto snapped a three-game losing streak on Thursday with a 9-0 win at Atlanta. The Jays are now 18-24 overall and 8-13 on the road. Toronto is putting up just 4.05 runs per game while allowing 4.61. Kevin Pillar has a .305 average with six homers, 12 doubles and 12 RBI to lead the Jays. Justin Smoak is adding nine home runs and 27 RBI.
The Orioles are struggling right now, but those struggles were coming on the road. Returning home should help, especially against a Toronto team that is 8-13 on the road. Tillman has limited experience on the mound this season, but his numbers have been pretty good. Sanchez has good numbers as well, but I think he will struggle with the Baltimore hitters in their home stadium.
