St. Louis Cardinals DFS SPIN
Nolan Gorman launched his 25th and 26th homers Tuesday as the Cardinals topped the Braves 10-6. It was Gorman’s sixth career two-homer game. Five of those have come this year. Only Matt Olsen (seven) and Mookie Betts (six) have more multi-homer games this year. Gorman’s recent struggles have left him with a .233/.320/.475 line for the year. That’s not bad, but that he’s struck out 146 times in 445 plate appearances suggests that batting average is going to remain quite an issue for him going forward.
Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN
Braves placed RHP Michael Soroka on the 15-day injured list with right forearm inflammation. Soroka had numbness in his fingers while pitching last night, so that might have been the last time we’ll see him this year. Back from 2 1/2 years of Achilles issues, he has a 6.40 ERA in six starts and one relief appearances for the Braves.

Cardinals vs. Braves MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Hudson owns a 3.94 ERA over his last five starts (29 2/3 innings), but his 5.89 FIP paints a much uglier pitcher. Meanwhile, Spencer has been filthy over his last four outings (27 innings), posting a 4-0 record with a 1.67 ERA and 2.22 FIP. That said, Atlanta’s bullpen owns a 4.72 ERA and 4.72 FIP over its last 34 1/3 innings of work (roughly 10 games), while St. Louis’ pen has posted a collective ERA of 7.53 and a FIP of 5.63. The Braves should T-off on Hudson and the Cardinals’ pen and if St. Louis can scratch across a few runs against Atlanta’s relievers, then I like the over to hit tonight in Atlanta.
