St. Louis Cardinals DFS SPIN
Nolan Gorman went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and four RBI on Wednesday, leading the Cardinals to a 6-4 victory over the Marlins. Gorman has looked locked-in at the dish coming out of the Midsummer Classic, taking Marlins ace Sandy Alcantara deep in the opening frame for his 19th round-tripper of the season. The 23-year-old righty-mashing infielder also added a seventh-inning RBI single off reliever Huascar Brazoban, just for good measure.
Chicago Cubs DFS SPIN
Mike Tauchman went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI on Wednesday to lead the Cubs to a 8-3 victory over the Nationals. Tauchman had a big day at the plate on Wednesday. He put the Cubs on the board early with leadoff homer off Trevor Williams in the first inning, then drove in the second run for the team with a double in the fourth. Tauchman lined his second double in the seventh to bring home his third RBI. He ended his day with a walk in the eighth and owns a .261/.372/.392 slash line, four homers, 29 RBI, and three steals across 184 plate appearances.

Cardinals vs. Cubs MLB BETTING PREDICTION
I like the over. Marcus Stroman is having an outstanding second season for the Cubs, posting a 10-6 record with a 2.88 ERA. That said, he was rocked by this same Cardinals team in London back on June 25 when he allowed six runs on eight hits before leaving with a blister after 3 1/3 innings. Granted, only three of those six runs were earned but if you watched that day, Stroman wasn’t fooling anyone. Meanwhile, Steven Matz is a horrendous 0-7 with a 4.86 ERA for the Cardinals this season. He was demoted to the bullpen for most of the first half, then returned to the starting rotation on July 9. The only reason he returned to the rotation was because the Cards signed him to a four-year, $40-plus million contract two offseasons ago and Matthew Liberatore was ineffective as his replacement. Offense should not be at a premium tonight at Wrigley.
