St. Louis Cardinals DFS SPIN
Paul DeJong went 3-for-4 and belted a solo home run in his return to the Cardinals lineup on Sunday against the Mariners. DeJong victimized Diego Castillo for his 408-foot (102.9 mph EV) blast in the seventh inning. If the 29-year-old is going to hit like this, he’s just going to add to the massive logjam that the Cardinals already have for playing time — both in the infield and the outfield. Ultimately, it may be better for everyone — at least from a fantasy perspective — if the Cardinals hit the trade market and ship off a bat or two for some pitching help.
San Francisco Giants DFS SPIN
Mike Yastrzemski smacked a go-ahead RBI double in the eighth inning on Sunday night, propelling the Giants to a 5-4 victory over the Mets. After Joc Pederson worked a one-out walk off Drew Smith in the eighth inning, Yastrzemski roped a 2-1 changeup into center field for an RBI double that gave the Giants a 5-4 lead. He also singled in the ballgame, finishing the night 2-for-4. On the season, Yastrzemski is now hitting .269/.296/.487 with four long balls and 11 RBI.
