St. Louis Cardinals DFS SPIN
Nolan Gorman went 1-for-3 with an RBI double, a walk, and a run scored as part of a 2-1 victory over the Reds on Thursday afternoon. The game was scoreless until Gorman came through against Lucas Sims with a liner down the third base line in the top of the eighth. He would eventually come around to score on a wild pitch later in the inning. With the double, Gorman extended his hitting streak to a career-best 15 games. He’s now slashing .297/.389/.613 as his breakout season continues.
Cleveland Guardians DFS SPIN
Amed Rosario went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts Wednesday against the White Sox. Rosario seemed to have things turned around when he picked up 10 hits in a four-game span a couple of weeks ago, but he’s just 5-for-40 with one walk in 10 games since. No manager hates changing his lineup like Terry Francona, but he can’t keep batting Rosario second forever with his OBP sitting at .275. It’s likely worth sticking with Rosario in mixed leagues as long as he continues to hit second, but he’ll be droppable if Francona ever makes the switch.
