St. Louis Cardinals DFS SPIN
Lars Nootbaar went 3-for-4 with a double and a walk Friday versus the Guardians. At .285, Nootbaar is certainly hitting for a better average than anticipated. It just hasn’t produced as much power as expected; he has a .132 isolated slugging percentage (SLG – AVG) this year, compared to .220 last season. Statcast thinks he’s been a little lucky in the average department and unlucky in the slugging department, which makes sense. His exit velocity numbers aren’t as strong as last year, but he should be hitting for more power than this.
Cleveland Guardians DFS SPIN
Amed Rosario drove in three runs with a bases-loaded double and walked Friday against the Cardinals. Rosario’s hit down the left field line upped his RBI total from 10 to 13. It’s not at all great that he has just 13 RBI, 11 extra-base hits and 10 walks in 193 plate appearances for the season, but it’s been enough to keep him in the second spot in the Guardians lineup. He’s batting .239/.280/.333.
