Goldschmidt started the fun with a 405-foot two-run blast off of Carlos Rodon in the opening inning. He then doubled and scored in the third inning, then smacked an RBI double of his own in the fourth before riding home on Nolan Arenado’s two-run blast. He’s enjoying another terrific season at the dish, slashing .312/.394/.496 with four homers and 20 RBI.
