The White Sox racked up 12 runs last night in Baltimore and have a great matchup with Orioles’ starter Andrew Cashner. Will the over cash again for bettors when these teams meet again at 7:05 p.m. ET?

Chicago White Sox Fantasy Spin
Jose Abreu went 3-for-6 with a homer and five RBI as the White Sox crushed the Orioles 12-2 on Monday. Abreu was due; he entered the game with a .192/.273/.372 line through 20 games this season. Abreu fell short of 100 RBI for the first time in five big-league seasons last year. He has a chance to get back to that mark this year, since the White Sox have improved at the top of the order. Although he hasn’t really gotten it going yet, he does have 17 RBI already.
Baltimore Orioles Fantasy Spin
Joey Rickard went 0-for-5 as the Orioles’ leadoff man Monday, dropping his average to .197. That seems bad, but Rickard is tied for the AL lead with two caught stealings in three attempts. Wait… that’s not good either. Rickard is 28, and he’s a career .257/.296/.373 hitter in 862 plate appearances. He’ll probably play pretty regularly with Cedric Mullins getting sent down, but that’s not going to do anyone any good.
MLB Betting Trends
Chicago
The White Sox are now 10-20 in their last 30 games overall.
Baltimore
The Orioles have won all four of Andrew Cashner’s last four starts.
Prediction:
The over/under has already moved from 9.5 to 10 as bettors are jumping on the over. No need to be a contrarian, as I too like the over tonight at Camden Yards. The White Sox are hitting .354 in 65 at bats against Cashner, with a home run and 10 runs scored. On the other side of the pitching equation is Ivan Nova, who had a decent matchup lined up in his last start, but the Tigers tagged him for six runs on 11 hits. He did pitch well against the Yankees in New York on April 13 but has otherwise struggled.
The Pick: White Sox/Orioles OVER 10
