White Sox vs. Rays Pick
The Chicago White Sox will head to Tampa tonight to take on division foe the Rays in search of their fifth consecutive victory. The first pitch is set for 7:10PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the White Sox are -126 money line favorites over the Rays, who have odds of +106 to pull off what would be a small upset at home. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 6.5 runs for tonight’s game.

While Chicago has won four-straight games, the team’s new third baseman is off to a rough start. Todd Frazier went 0-for-4 against the Twins on Thursday, dropping his average to .162 to start the season. His transition to the American League is off to a rocky start but he does have two home runs in nine games so perhaps Frazier will turn it around soon.

As for the Rays, Logan Morrison went 0-for-4 with three striekouts as the Rays were shut out by the Indians on Thursday. Morrison is now hitting .069 with a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 14/2, which is nasty. Unfortunately for Tampa, it’s not as if Brad Miller can takeover for Morrison in the two-hole. Miller is hitting just-as-bad .077.
OUR PICK: Take the Sox, who are actually just 1-4 in Chris Sale’s last five starts versus the Rays but are 4-0 in their last four road games and 5-1 in their last six games after allowing two runs or less in their previous contest. The Rays will counter with Jake Odorizzi, who has been on the mound for eight of the team’s 10 losses versus the American League Central.
