Rockies On a Roll
Now that they’ve snapped out of their losing streak, the Colorado Rockies try to win their second series of the year over the Cincinnati Reds when the teams wrap up their season series Sunday at Coors Field.
The Rockies (26-30) ended their three-game losing streak with a 4-1 win over the Reds (22-35) on Saturday, behind a two-run home run from Todd Helton.

Colorado had won seven in a row prior to the skid.
"You’ve got a feeling that things are going to turn out OK," Helton told the Rockies’ official Web site.
Helton is batting a robust .529 (9-for-17) with two homers and seven RBIs in five games against the Reds this season.
Colorado also won two of three at Cincinnati from May 4-6.
Rodrigo Lopez (2-0, 2.35 ERA) tries to build off his last start and give the Rockies another series win when he takes the hill for Sunday’s finale.
The right-hander allowed three runs, six hits and struck out a season-high six in six innings of an 8-3 win over St. Louis on Tuesday. He was activated from the disabled list before the game after being out since April 19 with right elbow inflammation.
"I can’t ask for anything else," Lopez said. "We got the win. I’m back here with the team. I got a base hit. And my elbow doesn’t hurt. I gave up three runs, but this is great."
Colorado has won each of Lopez’s three starts at Coors Field this season, while he has allowed six runs in 17 innings.
Lopez has not faced the Reds since 2005, and is 1-0 with an 8.53 ERA in two career starts against them.
Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is listed as day-to-day after leaving Saturday’s game in the fifth inning with tightness in his right groin. The rookie is hitless in six at-bats in June after batting .429 (12-for-28) in his previous seven games.
The Reds lost for just the second time in their last six games, after dropping 13 of their previous 16. They still own the NL’s worst record.
After hitting his 12th home run of the season in Friday’s 4-2 victory, Ken Griffey Jr. went 0-for-4 on Saturday, striking out three times for the first time this year.
Matt Belisle (5-4, 4.26) looks to provide Cincinnati with another solid outing. The right-hander gave up one run, four hits and struck out a career-high eight in 7 2-3 innings of a 2-1 win over Houston on Tuesday.
Belisle has been at his best on the road, going 4-1 with a 3.78 ERA in five starts away from Great American Ball Park. This will be his first career start at Coors Field.
In his only career start against the Rockies – on May 4 – Belisle gave up five runs and nine hits in six innings of a 6-5, 11-inning Cincinnati victory.
