Chicago Cubs DFS SPIN
Nico Hoerner went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and an RBI single in Sunday’s loss to the Brewers. Hoerner plated the game’s first run by singling home Seiya Suzuki in the top of the first. Later on in the top of the fifth, he hit a two-run home run off of Eric Lauer. The Cubs’ second baseman is batting .287 in August.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
George Springer swatted a solo home run on Sunday in the Blue Jays’ loss to the Angels. There weren’t too many positive takeaways for the Blue Jays in this one, but Springer stayed hot with his 19th long ball of the season, launching a solo shot to left field off Angels reliever Gerardo Reyes in the ninth inning. The 32-year-old fantasy stalwart hasn’t hit for a ton of power of late, but he’s been sizzling-hit at the dish, recording at least one hit in 12 consecutive contests since August 4.
