Cubs vs. Brewers Prediction
The total for Wednesday afternoon’s rubber match between the Cubs and Brewers at 2:10 p.m. ET is currently listed at 8 runs. With Adrian Sampson set to oppose Corbin Burnes in the pitching matchup, what’s the best play when it comes to that number?

Chicago Cubs DFS SPIN
Adrian Sampson gave up four earned runs in 5 1/3 innings on Friday in his start against the Red Sox. Sampson got off to as poor of a start as you can, giving up a solo homer to Jarren Duran to lead off the game. He would allow seven more hits — eight total — with one walk and four strikeouts. The 30-year-old has pitched decently in his limited action with the Cubs in 2022, but unsurprisingly wasn’t overly effective against one of the better lineups in baseball. He now has a 3.38 ERA and 14/3 K/BB ratio over his 16 innings, and will look to bounce back on Wednesday in Milwaukee against the Brewers.
Milwaukee Brewers DFS SPIN
Hunter Renfroe (calf) was able to resume on-field baseball activity on Monday. Renfroe was able to throw, run and hit during batting practice prior to Monday’s contest against the Cubs. The 30-year-old slugger is working his way back from a left calf strain that sent him to the injured list back in late June. There isn’t an official timetable for his return, but he’s getting closer.
