Bryant got the Cubs on the board in this one with an RBI double off of Merrill Kelly in the sixth inning then later scored on a run-scoring single off the bat of Javier Baez. Bryant then led off the ninth with a double, and was once again plated by Baez. With the two-hit attack, Bryant is now hitting .268/.349/.497 with 16 long balls, 47 RBI and four swipes on the season.

He drove in the first run of the game with a solo blast off of Johnny Cueto to lead off the third inning. The 27-year-old shortstop is 10-for-18 over his last six games with three home runs.
