Chicago Cubs DFS SPIN
Christopher Morel was not in the starting lineup for the Cubs in Saturday night’s game against the Giants. The 23-year-old rookie gets a much-needed night off on Saturday. Morel has more than held his own this season and is hitting .269/.343/.471 with nine homers and nine stolen bases. He is currently stuck at the bottom of the Cubs lineup but could find himself out of the basement after the trade deadline on Tuesday.
San Francisco Giants DFS SPIN
Luis González went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday’s win over the Cubs. González added on to the Giants’ two-run lead in the bottom of the fourth by hitting a 384-foot two-run home run to right field. He has a rock-solid .281 batting average with four home runs and eight stolen bases in 210 at-bats. However, it is worth noting that most of his production has come against right-handed pitching.
