Chicago Cubs DFS SPIN
Seiya Suzuki clubbed his 13th home run of the season as the Cubs fell to the Giants on Sunday night. Suzuki tagged Giants left-hander Scott Alexander for his mammoth 435-foot blast in the eighth inning, pulling the Cubs to within two runs at 4-2. That would be as close as they would get. The 28-year-old outfielder finished the night 1-for-4 and is now hitting .260/.332/.435 with 13 long balls, 45 RBI and eight stolen bases in his first 100 big league games
New York Mets DFS SPIN
Mets catching prospect Francisco Álvarez (ankle) returned to action at Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday. Álvarez had been sidelined since August 23 due to the injury — and there had been a thought that he would require surgery — so it’s certainly an encouraging development to see him back in action. The 20-year-old has hit .247/.359/.500 with 24 homers and 68 RBI in 99 games between Double-A Binghampton and Triple-A Syracuse this season.

The Cubs can’t hit right now. The under is a perfect 5-0 in their last five games, including cashing in all three of their home games this past weekend against the Giants. The under is also 4-1 in the Cubs’ last five games versus a right-handed starter, is 4-1 in their last five games coming off a loss and is 20-8-3 in their last 31 games versus a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15. On the other side, the under is 4-0 in the Mets’ last four home games following a road trip of seven or more days and is 9-4 in their last 13 home games.
