Arizona Diamondbacks DFS SPIN
The Diamondbacks announced Sunday that Brandon Pfaadt will get the ball for Game 1 of their Wild Card Series against the Brewers. The 24-year-old rookie right-hander has been throwing the ball as well as anyone in the league over his last three starts — posting a 2.93 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and a 22/1 K/BB ratio over 15 1/3 innings of work. Pfaadt has not taken on the Brewers yet this season. Presumably, Zac Gallen would work in Game 2 of the series with Merrill Kelly taking the ball in Game 3 if necessary.
Milwaukee Brewers DFS SPIN
Brewers manager Craig Counsell revealed Monday that Brandon Woodruff will miss the NL Wild Card Series against the Diamondbacks with a right shoulder capsular injury. Counsell also noted that his availability for the remainder of the postseason is up in the air as well. It’s a brutal break for Woodruff and for the Brewers, as the right-hander had been pitching quite well down the stretch. The Brewers will still have Corbin Burnes and Freddy Peralta to lean on for the first two games of the series, but it gets dicey after that.

Diamondbacks vs. Brewers Game 1MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Take the under. Burnes has solid numbers against the current Milwaukee roster. His 19.5-percent strikeout percentage is solid, as well as his .244 batting average against and his .281 wOBA. His expected stats are all solid as well, with a .249 expected batting average against, a .400 expected slugging percentage and a .301 xwOBA. He’ll pitch well and given Milwaukee’s offensive struggles last season in the playoffs, the Brewers are a good bet to falter again in that area.
