Arizona Diamondbacks DFS Notes
Josh VanMeter singled and doubled Tuesday as the Diamondbacks fell to the Cardinals. He had two of the team’s six hits as the D-backs once again failed to get much going at the plate. VanMeter has started six of nine games since being recalled but had gone just 2-for-18 at the dish prior to this contest. The 26-year-old flashed some promise during his rookie year with the Reds but has done next to nothing since joining Arizona.
St. Louis Cardinals DFS Notes
Nolan Arenado ripped a two-run home run and reached base three times Tuesday in the Cardinals’ win over the Diamondbacks. Arenado broke a scoreless tie with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning when he hit a laser down the left field line off the foul pole. The dinger was measured at 106.1 mph off the bat. Arenado then made the play of the game in the field in the next half inning, bare-handing a slow roller and throwing a rocket to first base in one motion to get the runner. The third baseman has gone deep four times across his previous 10 contests, pushing his season total to 16.
Diamondbacks vs. Cardinals MLB Betting Prediction
