Arizona Diamondbacks DFS SPIN
Tommy Pham hit a two-run homer Thursday in the Diamondbacks’ 3-1 win over the Padres. It’s Pham’s second homer in 12 games since arriving in Arizona. He figured to play mostly against lefties, but with Jake McCarthy getting sent down, he could be pretty much a full-timer for now, making him somewhat useful in shallow leagues.
San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Fernando Tatis Jr. went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, an RBI, and two steals on Wednesday in a 5-2 win over the Orioles. Tatis Jr. knocked a base hit in the first inning, then put the Padres on the board with a single in the third. He’d come around to score later in the frame on a hit by Xander Bogaerts. Tatis Jr. added another hit in the seventh and reached third base on an error as he stole second before then stealing home. The 24-year-old star is hitting .270/.325/.473 with 19 homers, 63 RBI, and 22 steals across 462 plate appearances.

Diamondbacks vs. Padres MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Over his last five starts, Pfaadt is 0-3 with a 4.34 ERA across 29 innings. That said, his FIP is lower than his ERA at 4.23 and his xFIP is even lower than that at 3.68, which indicates he’s pitching even better than his ERA would indicate. On the other side, Lugo is 1-2 with a 5.08 ERA over his last five starts (28 1/3 innings) and while his 4.85 FIP is slightly lower, it still isn’t good. The Diamondbacks have the advantage in the pitching matchup, but not offensively. Give me the under tonight in San Diego.
