Arizona Diamondbacks DFS SPIN
Corbin Carroll went 1-for-3 with a solo homer in a 4-2 loss to the Reds. Carroll connected with his 20th homer of the season of Reds closer Alexis Díaz in the top of the ninth inning, bringing the Diamondbacks within two runs. Sadly, Diaz is one of the best closers in the game, and he got out of the jam without allowing another run to cross the plate. The 22-year-old superstar is now hitting .281/.360/.541 with 29 stolen bases across 384 plate appearances and surely will be a first-round draft pick next season.
Cincinnati Reds DFS SPIN
Jake Fraley went 1-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI in the Reds’ 4-1 victory over the Diamondbacks. The Reds were held scoreless until the sixth inning when TJ Friedl, Matt McLain, and Fraley went back-to-back-to-back off Diamondbacks starter Brandon Pfaadt. The 28-year-old is making the most of his opportunities this season. He doesn’t start against left-handed pitching but is hitting .269/.359/.482 with 14 homers and 16 stolen bases across 290 plate appearances.

Diamondbacks vs. Reds MLB BETTING PREDICTION
The Diamondbacks have lost six of their last eight games since the All-Star break and 11 of their past 15 overall. They’ll start Ruiz today but he won’t go more than an inning or two, as Arizona will be using a bullpen game in today’s series finale. On the other side, the Reds will aim for their fifth straight victory and while Luke Weaver (2-2, 7.22 ERA) has struggled mightily at times this season, I’m going to back the hotter team at an inexpensive piece.
