Los Angeles Dodgers DFS SPIN
Mookie Betts went 4-for-4 with a stolen base Thursday as the Dodgers bested the Giants 2-1 to advance to the NLCS against the Braves. It’ll be a rematch of last year’s NLCS. Cody Bellinger had the go-ahead hit for the Dodgers in the ninth. They scored their first run in the sixth, when Corey Seager doubled in Betts. Betts had his worst month of the year in September, but he’s 11-for-24 with a homer and just two strikeouts in the postseason.
Atlanta Braves DFS Spin
According to David O’Brien of The Athletic, the Braves are “operating as if” Jorge Soler (COVID-19) will miss the NLCS. Soler landed on the COVID-19 injured list on Tuesday afternoon, just before the Braves finished off the Brewers in Game 4 of the best-of-five National League Division Series. He’ll still be in quarantine when the best-of-seven National League Championship Series gets underway on Saturday, though MLB will allow him to return mid-series if he passes through the necessary protocols. Cristian Pache filled Soler’s spot on the NLDS roster.
Dodgers vs. Braves NLCS Betting Prediction
The Dodgers are 40-18 in their last 58 games against the Braves, are 45-13 in their last 58 games overall and are 6-2 in their last eight postseason games. They have also thrived in the favorite role, cashing in 10 of their last 14 playoff games as chalk and 44-13 in their last 57 games as a favorite. On the other side, the Braves are just 1-4 in their last five playoff games as an underdog, are 1-4 in their last five NLCS games and are 1-5 in their last six NLCS home games.
