Los Angeles Dodgers DFS SPIN
Freddie Freeman collected four hits — including a home run — in Tuesday’s loss to the Cardinals. Freeman’s night began with an opposite-field single on a 103.1 mph Jordan Hicks fastball and it ended with a 417-foot solo home run off of Giovanny Gallegos. In between he also added an RBI double and another single. It’s the second four-hit game in a row for Freeman, who now has a .897 OPS which is the highest it’s been since late May.
St. Louis Cardinals DFS SPIN
Andrew Knizner tied season highs with three hits and three RBI Tuesday as the Cardinals edged the Dodgers. He had three RBI singles in this one, with the last one driving in what proved to be an integral insurance run in the eighth inning. Knizner hasn’t tallied an extra-base hit in nearly a month, but he has picked up five hits in his last three starts. He’ll continue to catch plenty until Yadier Molina (knee) returns in early August.
