Los Angeles Dodgers DFS SPIN
Will Smith blasted his 14th home run of the season on Saturday, but it wasn’t enough to power the Dodgers to victory over the Padres. Smith belted his 368-foot solo shot off of Blake Snell in the opening inning — giving the Dodgers an early 1-0 lead. He finished the night 1-for-3 plus a walk and is now hitting .276/.384/.474 with 14 homers and 56 RBI on the season.
San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Manny Machado homered and drove in three runs on Saturday night, leading the Padres to a come-from-behind 8-3 victory over the Dodgers. Machado got the Padres on the board in this one with a 419-foot solo shot off of Ryan Yarbrough in the fourth inning. That was the extent of their offense until the eighth inning, where Machado contributed a go-ahead two-run single as part of a seven-run uprising to take control of the ballgame. He finished the night 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored and is now slashing .259/.320/.465 with 21 long balls and 65 RBI.

Dodgers vs. Padres MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Lynn is 7-9 with a 6.32 ERA and was acquired by the Dodgers from the White Sox at the MLB trade deadline. He won his Dodgers debut on Tuesday when held the A’s to three runs on five hits with a walk and seven strikeouts across seven innings. On the other side is Hill, whom the Padres acquired from the Pirates at this year’s deadline. He’s 7-10 this season with a 4.76 ERA and despite pitching into his 40s, he’s only faced the Dodgers twice in his career. Either way, I see both offenses mashing tonight in what should be a HR derby of sorts at Petco Park.
