Rowdy Tellez came through with a pinch-hit, three-run home run Wednesday to lead the Brewers to a win over the Pirates. Manager Craig Counsell stuck with Tellez as his pinch-hitter after the Pirates put in left-handed reliever Chasen Shreve with two outs and two on in the seventh inning. The decision worked, as Tellez won a seven-pitch battle and sent a 423-foot shot over the right field wall. Tellez has homered five times in 64 plate appearances with the Brew Crew.
