San Francisco Giants DFS SPIN
Brandon Crawford was pulled from Saturday’s game against the Padres due to tightness in his right calf. Crawford crushed the first home run in Saturday’s slugfest in Mexico City, but was pulled a few innings later due to his calf issue. It’s unclear if he’s going to require an extended absence or if it’ll be a day-to-day type of situation for the 36-year-old shortstop. Be sure to check back on his status prior to Sunday’s series finale.
San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Manny Machado homered twice, doubled and walked twice Saturday against the Giants. This is certainly a nice reward for those who drafted Machado, but we wouldn’t take much from this one. Machado simply isn’t hitting the ball as hard as usual, and while the confidence boost could help, one big game in conditions unlike any typically experienced in MLB isn’t necessarily a reason for optimism.
