San Francisco Giants DFS SPIN
Darin Ruf went 1-for-1 with a pinch-hit two-run home run in the eighth inning of Wednesday’s 7-5 win over the Diamondbacks. Ruf came off the bench with the Giants in need of a jolt trailing 4-2 on the scoreboard. He proceeded to crack a two-run game-tying homer off Joe Mantiply. His crew would go on to score three go-ahead runs in the ninth inning to finish out the strong comeback effort. This season, Ruf is slashing .226/.338/.362 with seven homers and 30 RBI across 221 at-bats. He had gone 11 straight games without a homer before coming through in emphatic fashion on Wednesday.
San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Nomar Mazara went 3-for-4 with a double on Tuesday in a loss to the Mariners. Mazara was one of the few hitters who had success on Tuesday against Logan Gilbert and the Seattle bullpen. The former top prospect has looked the part since being promoted from Triple-A, and is now slashing an impressive .301/.356/.434 in 89 at-bats. He’s absolutely worth roster consideration right now.
