Then in the top of the eighth, he lifted a 105.1-mph, two-run home run over the center-field wall. This was his first multi-home run game since July 16th, 2021.

Juan Soto went 0-for-2 and drew a pair of walks as the Padres were shut out by the Dodgers on Sunday evening in Los Angeles. As a team, the Padres tallied just two hits and two walks in the contest, with Soto drawing both of the free passes. He worked one against starter Tyler Anderson in the fourth inning, then drew a two-out walk off of Craig Kimbrel in the ninth. The 23-year-old has yet to drive in a run through his first five games with the Padres.
