Fernando Tatis Jr. went 2-for-5 with a home run and a walk against the Giants on Wednesday. After drawing a walk in the fifth inning, Tatis took Jarlin Garcia deep for a solo homer in the seventh. He added a base hit in the eighth before getting a chance to walk it off in the ninth. With two runners on and two outs, Tatis hit a sharp fly ball to left that fell just short of the warning track. The home run was the 40th of the season for the 22-year-old star to go with 25 steals and a .287/.370/.622 slash line. The fact that he was able to do it over just 509 plate appearances is incredible.
