San Francisco Giants DFS SPIN
Joc Pederson (wrist) may end up on the injured list after receiving a cortisone injection in his injured right wrist on Friday. It’s unclear when exactly Pederson sustained the wrist injury, but apparently it has been bothering him for some time. He did take several swings in the on-deck circle during Friday night’s loss to the Tigers, but never actually came into the game to pinch-hit. Look for the Giants to provide an update on his status on Saturday.
Detroit Tigers DFS SPIN
Nick Maton hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the 11th to give the Tigers a 7-5 win over the Giants. With his team getting an additional out because of a bad decision from David Villar, Maton capitalized, delivering the game-winner with two outs and the Tigers down by one. It was his third homer in 43 plate appearances this season. He didn’t start tonight against a left-hander, but he came to bat four times after replacing Tyler Nevin in the fifth. He’s hitting .194/.236/.500.
