San Francisco Giants DFS SPIN
Alex Cobb struggled with his command in a no-decision against the Phillies on Tuesday night, issuing five walks over 3 1/3 innings of two-run baseball. The right-hander also allowed five hits on the night while striking out three. All of the damage done against him came as Cobb was chased in the fourth inning — on a one-out RBI single by Bryson Stott and then Kody Clemens came home on a questionable balk call against Cobb. The right-hander got just five whiffs on 86 pitches in the contest, posting a CSW of 27 percent. He’ll bring a pristine 1.94 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and a 44/13 K/BB ratio (51 innings) into Monday’s showdown against the Twins in Minnesota.
Minnesota Twins DFS SPIN
Sonny Gray was lifted after allowing two runs in four innings Wednesday against the Dodgers. Gray walked three and needed 84 pitches to get through four, so the Twins opted to turn to the pen at that point. Gray hasn’t won or completed six innings in any of his three starts in May, but he’s held it together well enough to keep his ERA mostly intact; he’s at 1.64 through nine starts. Next up for him is a start against the Giants.
