Josh Naylor went hitless (0-4) in the game two loss to Minnesota. Naylor returned to the lineup and made his presence felt with multiple hits in the game two win, and with the division within reach, a strong weekend from him could go a long way. The Ontario native will get to face a lifeless Halo team here, and I believe he’ll produce here in Anaheim, after shaking off the rust in division play with the Twins. Naylor was raking prior a month-long DL stint, as he leads the club in batting (.305) and RBI (80), with fifteen homers.
LA Angels DFS Spin
Brandon Drury went 3-4, with a double and a triple in the game three loss to Baltimore. Things have really gone south for the Angels, from the heartbreak losses, to the injuries, and now the eventual departure of megastar Shohei Ohtani, but within all of the dysfunction lies the lone consistent bat in the lineup. Brandon Drury continues to deliver at a high rate despite playing in one of the tougher situations in the league right now. Drury totaled multiple bases in all three matchups against the O’s, and he’s done so in six of the last nine games. Drury has also produced a run in five of those contests, and he’s quietly having the best season of his career, amidst all of the confusion. Drury is posting splits of .268/20/67 for the season.
