Cleveland Guardians DFS SPIN
José Ramírez homered and drove in four runs on Friday night, leading the Guardians in an 8-0 thrashing of the Blue Jays. Ramírez singled in the first inning, but wound up getting picked off by José Berríos. He then plated a run with a sacrifice fly in the third inning that extended the Guardians lead to 3-0. The big blow came in the fourth though as he crushed a 393-foot three-run shot off of Berríos to make it an 8-0 ballgame. He also drew a walk in the sixth and singled in the eighth, finishing the night 3-for-3. The superstar third baseman is slashing a terrific .285/.355/.551 with 22 homers, 92 RBI and 14 stolen bases through his first 108 games on the season.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Bo Bichette went 0-for-3 with a pair of strikeouts as the Blue Jays were shut out by the Guardians on Friday night in Toronto. As a team, the Jays were only able to muster three hits against Cal Quantrill and a pair of Guardians relievers. Bichette — who has been moved down to the sixth spot in the Jays lineup — is slashing a disappointing .262/.302/.433 with 17 homers, 64 RBI and seven stolen bases on the season. It’s decent production, but certainly not living up to the expectations of being a consensus first round pick in fantasy drafts back in March.
