Cleveland Guardians DFS SPIN
Josh Naylor went 1-for-5 with a go-ahead solo home run in Wednesday’s win over the Red Sox. After Myles Straw tied up the contest at 6-6 via an eighth-inning RBI double, Naylor struck in even more dramatic fashion in the ninth, swatting a go-ahead solo homer off Tanner Houck to put his squad in front. Emmanuel Clase would take it from there, tossing a scoreless bottom of the ninth to polish off a strong win by the Guardians. For the overall campaign, Naylor is hitting a sturdy .279/.330/.506 with 14 homers and 53 RBI across 251 at-bats.
Boston Red Sox DFS SPIN
Bobby Dalbec went 2-for-3 with a pair of two-run home runs and five total RBI in Wednesday’s 7-6 loss to the Guardians. A huge effort from Dalbec in the loss. The 27-year-old first baseman got his supernova evening started in the second inning, when he clocked a two-run homer off Cal Quantrill to almost immediately get the Red Sox back into the game after they had gone down 3-0 early. He would follow up that initial two-run shot with a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning and yet another two-run homer in the sixth inning. Despite these fireworks, the Guardians would come away with the end win after plating runs in the eighth and ninth innings. On the whole this season, Dalbec is slashing a modest .206/.279/.370 with 10 homers and 28 RBI across 243 at-bats. Four of those homers have come over his last nine games.
