Cleveland Guardians DFS SPIN
Josh Naylor went 4-for-5 with a two-run homer, six RBI and one stolen base on Wednesday, lifting the Guardians to a 12-8 win over the Orioles. Naylor matched a career-high with four hits in a back-and-forth slugfest at Camden Yards. The 25-year-old slugger took lefty reliever Cionel Pérez deep in the fourth inning for his eighth round-tripper of the season before delivering a bases-clearing double and also stealing third base — his fourth theft of the year — in the fifth inning. It was the type of all-around, stat-stuffing performance fantasy managers dream about and his ability to deliver them makes Naylor such an intriguing young power hitter.
Minnesota Twins DFS SPIN
Twins manager Rocco Baldelli told reporters late Wednesday that Jorge Polanco (hamstring) will return for Thursday’s series opener against the Guardians. Polanco returns following a brief stint on the injured list due to a mild left hamstring strain. The 29-year-old second baseman has contributed a solid .284/.327/.484 triple-slash line with four homers, 14 RBI and one stolen base across 101 plate appearances through 23 games. The positive news here is that he hasn’t dealt with any issues related to his left knee since returning a few weeks ago.
